Hayden is doing well today...same as yesterday with better blood pressure! We are still waiting for his surgeon's evaluation and results.
He had his first bowel movement (through his stoma) late last night!!
An interesting tidbit: Hayden's surgeon, Dr. Bloss...is the SAME surgeon from TX Children’s that did Lisa's NEC surgery 24 years ago!!! What a coincidence!!!
Thank you so much for all of your prayers, they are keeping Hayden and the family strong. Please feel free to visit little Hayden any time (Lisa, Dustin, my Mom, and Dad can see him whenever they want to), and visitors can see him from 11:00-12:00 in the morning and 8:00-9:00 p.m. The only people who usually go during morning visits are my Mom, Lisa, and I-so I take the full hour because no one else normally comes. I’ll be happy to quit hogging all of his time when other people come to visit =)
I know visiting was a little hectic at first, but the “swarm” of people has faded, of course, and everyone is doing a FANTASTIC job of alternating visits, so if you have time-come and visit our little miracle! He is even more precious in person!
