Hayden is having surgery

Hi everyone! It has been a long time since we have blogged, but that is because everything has been going so great.

Hayden developed a soft lump on the back of his head. Lisa and our wonderful Aunt Lara took Hayden to Tx Childrens to have him examined. (Grandma would have gone, but she broke her toe and is in a boot).

Unfortunately, Lisa was told that he needed a cat scan to determine what the problem was. Tomorrow, he will having an endoscopy (camera going inside his head) to get a closer look.

Doctors think that his cyst (the large one inside of his brain) has swelled and is causing the lump. They said that Hayden may need an additional shunt to drain the fluid.

We are not sure of much; all we know is that Hayden will be having surgery on his brain tomorrow.

Lisa and Hayden are staying at TX Childrens until this is all over and he is all better! They said they will be there at least a few days (I'm assuming if he doesn't need the shunt)

We all know the pain, stess, and emotional roller coaster Lisa has been through this past year...not to mention what poor little Hayden is going through. We want to thank everyone that has supported them and loved them any way possible. You have NO IDEA how much that means to Lisa and the family.

Lisa and Hayden got approved for their new apartment and are supposed to move in next weekend (Feb. 13). We are not sure if they will be home or not, but I would LOVE to move their things in for them!!! Moving is another added stress I don't want Lisa to have to deal with right now. PLUS, how awesome would it be to be able to bring Hayden home from the hospital to his new home already ready??? =)

I would appreciate SO VERY MUCH if anyone would be willing to help! She is only moving a few apartments down (in the same complex) to a 2 bedroom. PLEASE call or e-mail me if you are free and wanting to help...ANY help is appreciated!!!

Thanks so much for all of your support and love!!! I will keep everyone updated with Hayden's progress.

Please continue to pray for his successful surgery and speedy recovery!!!
